Animals roar for various reasons, including territorial proclamation, communication with other members, and anger. Snow and Snow Dogs

Snow dogs include dog breeds such as : Alaskan Husky,Alaskan Malamute,Alusky,Canadian Eskimo Dog,Chinook,Eurohound ,Greenland Dog,Mackenzie River Husky,Samoyed,Seppala Siberian Sleddog,Siberian Husky…But the most important and famous dog breed is ofcourse a Siberian Husky.

Siberian Huskies are loving, gentle, playful, happy-go-lucky dogs who are fond of their families. Keen, docile, social, relaxed and rather casual. This is a high energy dog, especially when young. Good with children and friendly with strangers, they are not watchdogs, for they bark little and love everyone.  Huskies are very intelligent and trainable, but they will only obey a command if they see the human is stronger minded than themselves. If the handler does not display leadership, they will not see the point in obeying. Training takes patience, consistency and an understanding of the Arctic dog character. If you are not this dogs 100% firm, confident, consistent pack leader, he will take advantage, becoming willful and mischievous. Huskies make an excellent jogging companion, as long as it is not too hot. Huskies may be difficult to housebreak. This breed likes to howl and gets bored easily. Does not do well if left alone for a long period of time without a great deal of exercise before hand. A lonely Husky, or a Husky who does not get enough mental and physical exercise can be very destructive. Remember that the Husky is a  sled dog in heart and soul. They are good with other pets if they are raised with them from puppyhood. Huskies are thrifty eaters and need less food than you might expect. This breed likes to roam. Siberian Huskies can make wonderful companions for people who are aware of what to expect from these beautiful and intelligent animals and are willing to put the time and energy into them.

Cute Homeless Pets

Once an owner doesn’t want a pet they may think they can simply let it loose. Animals left in the street to fend for themselves have a life expectancy of less than a year. They will die of starvation, overexposure, or get hit by a car. Pets are domestic animals; they are used to being taken care of and their survival instincts are poor. On their own, they are totally helpless.Pet owners don’t realize that cats’ and dogs’ survival skills have been dulled considerably by domestication. These animals do not know how to survive in the wild, how to stay alive, where to find food and shelter. It is cruel and inhumane to turn an animal out into the streets. As a consequence, large groups of dogs have been know to form packs and roam underpopulated areas of town. These animals may have rabies in addition to other diseases and fleas. If the animals don’t die, there is a chance that they will reproduce, further adding to the growing homeless animal population.

The truth is that for every ten pets in need of a home, there is only one person willing to adopt. The rest of these animals will be sent to shelters and will ultimately be destroyed. Because of the overcrowding at local shelters, stray animals that are brought in are kept for a maximum of three days. If they are unclaimed by that time they are destroyed.

When the lioness wandered off to a nearby stream for a drink, Hetherington decided to try and snag some up-close photos of the creature feeding on the carcass.

He quickly placed his 5D Mk II and wide-angle lens next to the carcass, retreated to a safe distance, and then waiting for the lioness to return:
